Meganet Corporation has used
multiple high-stakes challenges in the past to establish our
confidence that the VME system is unbreakable. The purpose for
these challenges are:
- 1) To demonstrate the continuing confidence we
have in our bold claims.
- 2) To educate and teach VME
users how to create unbreakable sessions.
Allow us to explain:
An average hacker will not try to compromise the
algorithm (the VME algorithm is unbreakable) itself. Rather, he or she will attack from a much simpler angle - the
lack of proper security procedures. For instance, if the user encrypted all his files using a 2 digit
number - then a hacker does not need to break VME, he just needs to
guess which 2 digits the user chose to encrypt the file. User intelligence can be
compromised by trying passwords or keywords related to the user's environment, such as his phone number, SSN, wife or kids name etc.
Use of such obvious passwords constitutes poor security
procedures.
Therefore, after these challenges,
when we present the solutions, we also demonstrate the
appropriate ways to create unbreakable sessions using proper
security procedures, and how to
utilize the tremendous power and built in features of the VME
algorithm to create secure encryption sessions.
If you are a part of
an organization and would like to challenge Meganet's VME technology,
please contact us.
